This film was inspired by the photography series created earlier in the year, where typography and dance collide and interact with each other through slow shutter speed images. In the film, three dancer bodies follow a choreographic and improvised sequence while text based on quotes evolves in the background. The typography and the dancers increasingly melt together throughout the piece. The film showcases how dance can make the design move in ways only unique tot he human body and a moment in time. Some effects of slow motion and layering was added in order to emphasize the dance versus design connection. The sound is based on a metronome, a typewriter and Max Richter's recomposed part of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Each of these elements relate to certain aspects of design and choreography, such as time, rhythm, consistency, communication, words and messages, flow, imagination, ambiguity, layering, in balance and off balance techniques, grids etc.
